The first thing that can delay the date on which to change a scooter cylinder is to simply maintain a cylinder properly so that gunk does not get stuck in it.
For this, we will advise you to do at least once every six months a good cleaning using hot water to which you will have added a few drops of dishwashing liquid for its degreasing action.
